Microbial contamination is the primary factor limiting access to safe drinking water globally.
In-line chlorination can change that.
Over 2 billion people currently use a drinking water source which could be served by in-line chlorination.1
Our Approach
Knowledge Sharing Platform - Building a foundation for in-line chlorination globally through open-source resources.
Implementation Support Services - Developing strategies for in-line chlorination projects from site assessment and installation to monitoring and evaluation.
Open Source Tech - Expanding access to open-source chlorinators in underserved regions.
Open Source Technologies
The TuriTap is an open-source, liquid chlorine in-line chlorination device which accurately and passively doses chlorine in drinking water. The TuriTap relies upon a fluid dynamics principle, the Venturi effect, to dose chlorine into drinking water without using electricity.
TuriTap manufacturing and sales are currently being set up and the first units will be ready for sales and distribution in Kenya beginning in 2025!
