An Innovation in Safe Water Access
TuriTap is a in-line chlorination technology which accurately doses liquid chlorine into drinking water without requiring any electricity.
TuriTap relies upon a common fluid dynamics principle, the Venturi effect, to precisely dose liquid chlorine into drinking water while accounting for user taste preferences. TuriTap uses common liquid chlorine concentrations (0.5-6.0%) and is compatible with liquid chlorine produced from electrochlorinators. The TuriTap can be installed in a variety of water infrastructure, including indoor or outdoor tap connections, water storage tanks, handpumps and boreholes at kiosks, schools, healthcare facilities, and more.
Treats 24,000 liters between refills at a dose of 1 mg/L with 1.2% concentration of liquid chlorine.
Compatible with flow rates of 5-60 liters per minute.
Dosing control valve enables precise chlorine residual concentrations over time.
